Instagram has given me a great platform to keep in touch with all my former brick and mortar customers AND show you my antiques and vintage items for sale. I miss the daily interaction of the brick and mortar store but the current environment does not allow us to proceed with those traditional avenues.
I am remaining optimistic that we will not have any more cancellations of any show that I signed up for and you can come visit my booth at the Red Caboose in Flinn Springs on October 3. The address is 14860 Olde Highway 80, Flinn Springs, CA. It’s very easy to find, just take the exit for Flinn Springs and keep your eyes peeled for (you guessed it) a BIG RED CABOOSE!
Several vendors are planning on bringing their most special vintage items to you! Click on the link below to bring up the map that you can print and bring with you. You can also print one (and see photos from previous years) at www.eastcountyjunktrail.com.
NOTE: There will be tickets given out at each stop that add your name to the drawings for some nice gifts donated by the vendors. Each stop will have a raffle of 2 prize items. The more you buy, the more opportunity you have to win at each map stop. No purchase necessary and you will be given one raffle ticket upon arrival at each stop. One additional raffle ticket will be given to you for every $20 spent thereafter.
It was SO nice to once again meet my fellow “junkers” during the “Junk in the Trunk” Marketplace held July 14-15 at Liberty Station. Scroll down through the pictures below to see what you missed if you didn’t make it out. To those of you who did and took the time to compliment my booth, I appreciate the feedback.
This wonderful booth next door had Tim and Katie all the way from the Chicago area filled with wonderful treasures!
There are lots more fun pics of the venue and wonderful vendors that participated. Please follow my page if you want to know where I’m showing next!
Thank you to all the new customers and friends we made at the Barn Vintage Marketplace in Julian last month! If Brandi Smothers puts this on next year, we will definitely be participating! It was a great 2 days and we enjoyed meeting you all and showing you the trailer! And I’ll say it again, if you want a vintage trailer, go out and get one! It’s been life-changing for us…
We had an awesome crowd. Almost everything you see in this picture sold but we’re busy picking more treasures for you!
This pick rack was probably the most popular thing in our booth. Everyone loved digging for little treasures!
I will be sure to let you know when the opportunity to shop our treasures occurs! Be sure to follow me on Instagram Lisa’s Cottage.
I will be participating with my ’64 vintage trailer at The Barn Vintage Marketplace in Julian (4559 Highway 78, Julian, California 92036) on Saturday and Sunday, 5/27-5/28 (Memorial Day Weekend).
This is my first time as a vendor there but I’ve visited a few times and love their setup. They have food trucks and music and lots of AMAZING VENDORS! Free parking and FREE admission! The Julian Junkture will be having their event the same weekend, so it is a good time to take a drive out to Julian and see the quality items being offered.
I thought my Lisa’s Cottage clients would want to know about some wonderful Estate Sale Finds that I’ve just posted on eBay. Paint by Numbers are really hot right now and cute and kitschy and posted at a great price! You can find them here Ebay Items for Sale
This past weekend, we participated in the 2nd San Diego Vintage Flea Market event. It was held in El Cajon at the Masonic Lodge. If you are on Facebook, you can read more about it on their Facebook page https://www.facebook.com/SDVintageFleaMarket. We had fantastic weather and it was a great turnout all day! Subscribe to my Blog (on the right margin) to get updates on when and where the next one will be!
Cute birdie S&P!
This is going to become a regular event and you can get your updates here as to when and where. It won’t always be at the Masonic Lodge location.
Skeleton keys galore!
Thanks to all who came out! It was fun to see some of my former Lisa’s Cottage store customers! Someone said they knew it had to be me when they walked into the booth. Fun! Made me realize how much I’d missed them!
Almost everything in this picture went to good homes!

Cute little stinkers!
This chicken crate would make a cool coffee table!
